Exfoliate

Exfoliating is one of my favorite things to do during the warmer months, especially after the long winter. It helps get rid of any dry skin and keeps your skin feeling really soft. I personally like using a gentle exfoliator. If you have sensitive skin, I highly recommend it!

Moisturize

Moisturizing is oh so important when it comes to skincare. It’s an easy step to skip but I promise it is so worth it. Keeping your skin hydrated will not only keep your skin healthy but will keep you from getting dry skin patches.

Makeup Removal

Removing your makeup at the end of the night is so important when it comes to skincare. We’ve all been in the situation where we fall asleep before taking it off. Every now and then, that’s okay! When you are sleeping, your skin repairs itself during that time. Having skin clean and moisturized during the process will help your skins overall health in the long run.

Stay Hydrated

Water is a huge part of our life and most people don’t drink enough - me included! A great way to keep your skin moisturized is by drinking enough water each and everyday. If you struggle drinking water, try adding in lemon or your favorite fruit to give it a little bit of flavor!

Vitamins

Vitamins are not only great for your health but for your skin as well. Different vitamins will do different things for you. Vitamin B is great for your hair, skin and nails and slowing the signs of aging. Vitamin C is great for achieving a bright and even complexion. Vitamin D is great if you are not getting enough outside time. It helps prevent breakouts and skin from appearing shallow - and you will feel better too!

These are just a few simple tips to get your skin through the spring and looking radiant. What is your favorite skin care refresh!
