Booking a Boudoir Session
Booking a boudoir session make seem like such a scary experience! Putting it on the books and in your calendar makes it official. You may be feeling overwhelmed, excited and even a bit nervous at all the same time. I promise it's not as scary as you may think. Whether you are doing it for yourself, for your partner or just crossing it off your bucket list, it's an experience that is going to stay with you for a lifetime. Here are a few simple tips when it comes to booking a boudoir session.
Know your photographer
Choosing the right photographer is so incredibly important. Do your research! I always recommend looking a few different photographers when you start the process. Look at their work and find a photographer that matches your style. Most photographers will do a chat at the beginning to go over some basic information and for you both to get to know each other.
Treat yourself
I always recommend turning your shoot into an experience! Pamper yourself! If you want to and it's in the budget, go for the session that truely pampers you with hair and makeup. Getting all glammed up by the makeup artist will make you feel truly special! Getting your nails day or getting your hair trimmed before your session will make you feel so good and give you a little me time before your shoot. Having me time is one of my favorite ways to focus on self care and relax a little.
Make It Familiarβ
One of my biggest tips to feel comfortable the day of the session is to bring in some personal accessories. Whether it is your favorite blanket or your sweeties favorite tie, it will give you a little comfort from home. it will also give a more personal feel to your images.
