Fall Date Ideas
Fall is my favorite time of year. From the leaves changing to the temperatures dropping, it makes me excited to spend more time outside and dressing up in more layers. (and who doesn’t love fall fashion?!) I know everyone is talking about Christmas but I am still in fall mode. I love being able to spend time outdoors, taking in the fresh air and going on local adventures. If you are looking for a few things to do with your partner this fall, here are a few easy date ideas that will get you enjoying fall in no time.
Pumpkin Patch
When I think of fall, I always think of all things pumpkin! Most local farms and pumpkin patches will not only let you pick out your own pumpkin but will have other activities that can keep you busy for a little while. From farmers market goodies to apple cider donuts, there is plenty of others things to keep you busy if pumpkins are not your thing.
Hiking
If you love the outdoors, hiking in the fall is the perfect date for you. Make a day of it and pack some snacks and drinks to enjoy when you make it up to the top. With the leaves changing, the same view from the summer will look incredibly different. Be sure to dress in layers because in the fall it may be a little bit cooler than what you are used to.
Baking
One thing I love about fall is apple everything. From pies to cookies to muffins, there are so many delicious foods that you and your sweetie can bake together. Make a day of it and pick out a few things that you both love. Be sure to bake them together! You’ll be able to spend some alone time laughing in the kitchen before getting to enjoy those delicious treats.
Take A Road Trip
If hiking is not your thing but you still want to see some amazing views, go for a road trip! Whether you want to drive around New England or drive to the beach, spend some time the car together. Put on your favorite jams and bring a few snacks to keep you occupied in the car. Pick a destination and make a day or weekend of checking out that location!
Movie Night
Picture a cool brisk night, a fire in the fireplace and cozy blankets to cuddle up in. Sounds perfect right?! Plan a movie night with your sweetie with some of your favorite foods and movies. You may want to pick a scary movie so you have a good excuse to cuddle up together on the couch :)
Whether you love to go out or stay in on the weekends, coming up with new things to do each season can be tricky. These are just a few simple ideas that will keep that spark alive. What is your favorite date idea for the fall?
