Newsletter Sale Sessions
When I first started my business, I never offered anything than my regular priced boudoir sessions. I honestly didn’t really see the point of doing anything outside of that. It just seemed like more work as well as something that would lessen the value of my regular sessions. Then several years ago, I took a business course which opened my eyes to the benefits of offering special newsletter sessions. I was hesitant about the idea at first, but decided it wouldn’t hurt to try it just once.
Well, my first newsletter sale I ever ran brought in over 5k of income from 3 sessions. This was income outside of my regular priced sessions, income that I wasn’t planning on making, it was just completely extra! Undoubtedly, after that I was a believer. And if you aren’t running your own specials in your email marketing, you are really missing out!
Clients inviting you to their inbox is special. You should make it worth their while. You should be delivering special little perks to them and making them excited to hear from you!
The main benefits include:
Making a bit of extra income, which can be especially helpful during your slower season or if you have some unbooked session spots in a certain month
Some clients cannot justify purchasing full priced sessions and products on top of that, but if they get a session for a lower rate they will be much more comfortable with booking you. It gives them the breathing room they need to invest in the images and products they want.
Making themed sessions or using special locations you don’t typically work in is a great method for getting current or past clients to book another session with you!
