Spring Lingerie Trends

I think it is pretty safe to say that spring is finally here in New England.  One of my favorite things about a new season is the release of all the beautiful lingerie in my favorite stores. If you are looking to try something new or shake up your style a little bit, these new trends are a must try!

Nude Colors

Muted colors are so in right now!  This trend is all about showing off those curves without the lingerie demanding attention.  There are so many different shades of nude, you are bound to find one that you love. You may be thinking that bare tones might be a light too boring for you but I promise it is such a timeless and chic look that you will love year after year.

Retro

If you are thinking about doing a vintage session, you are in luck! Retro styles are coming back and I don’t think that this trend is going anywhere anytime soon. Babydolls are making a come back and the new styles are stunning. I don’t normally recommend babydolls for boudoir but there are so many different new options out there that you can definitely rock one for your session. Just be sure it is lace or silk and stays close to your body, you want to be able to flaunt those curves.

Floral Everything

As a huge flower lover, this trend is my absolute favorite! Floral prints are hitting some of my favorite lingerie pieces like teddies and bra and panty sets. It’s the perfect way to spice up your lingerie selection a bit more and incorporate some fun colors into your session!

Balconette Bras

You may be thinking that this is not a new trend! Balconette bras have been around for quite some time but some new modern styles are coming out that I just love!  Bras are one of my favorite pieces for boudoir sessions because there is so much you can do to switch up your look. From pairing with different panties to even layering a sweater over it, Balconette bras are always a good idea!

This season is all about simple and modern styles. If you are looking to revamp your lingerie selection, be sure to do some shopping before summer hits! These are trends that will never go out of style and you won’t want to miss out.
