DIY At Home Face Masks

With my crazy schedule, I am always trying to find some time to squeeze in a little bit of self care throughout the week. One of my favorite ways to do that is to put on a face mask! I can do it while multi tasking if need be. The one downside about being a mask lover is that the cost of buying a few different ones adds up pretty fast.

Coffee & Honey Face Mask

All you need is 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of coffee powder. Mix the ingredients in a bowl until it creates a fine paste. Apply the mask on your face and gently massage in circular motions. Leave it on your skin for 20 minutes and rinse off completely. The antioxidant formula in the coffee mixed with the moisture i the honey will leave you with glowing and moisturized skin.

Lemon and Coffee Face Mask

This is an awesome face mask for anyone that has oily skin. You will need 1 tablespoon of coffee powder and lemon juice. Mix the coffee with lemon juice until it forms a fine paste. Apply this mask over your face and neck and leave it on for about 30 minutes. Due to the lemon, this mask is rich in Vitamin C!

Coconut Oil & Honey Face Mask

For this mask you will need 2 teaspoons of coconut oil, 1.5 teaspoons of honey and 1-2 drops of your favorite scented essential oil. This essential oil is totally optional! Mix it together evenly. If the mixture doesn't feel quite right, pop it in the fridge for 5-10 minutes and it will harden up just a little bit and become the right consistency for a face mask. After you wash your face, apply the mask for 10-15 minutes. Rinse off completely! The coconut and honey will leave you feeling totally moisturized.
