Tips to Staying Consistent
We all go through those phases where you are just unmotivated. You have a to do list a mile long and instead of doing it, you'd rather just order a pizza and Netflix it for the night. I'm guilty of this too! It can be hard to stick to your list when you are burnt out, tired, had a bad day, etc. There are so many different things that can throw us off our game.
Mile Long To Do List
Don't do it! A list of a million things to do is just overwhelming. You won't know where to start and it just makes you feel like the end is never in sight. Break it up into smaller lists if you have to. And be sure to break it up with the most important first! Try to spread your day with the most important items when you are the most productive. Getting those big things off your list will make you feel so much better!
Be Specific
Be specific with your goals and your tasks. Don't just write down that you want to write a blog post, but think about what the blog post should be on. Maybe jot down a few notes that you want to incorporate into the post. If you are too general you may feel like you just don't know what to do, and the overwhelm will start to set in.
Practice
Practice following through on those plans. You may not feel like you want to do that blog post but the more you make yourself sit down and do it, you easier it will be to want to do it.
